ITINERARY

  • 2 Nights Gangtok & 2 Nights Darjeeling Travel Date: 21st Feb 20

     

    Day 01:  Arrival NJP / IXB to Gangtok

    Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport & after arrival transfer to Gangtok. Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim. Evening free for exploring the hill. Overnight stay Gangtok.

     

    Day 02:  Day Excursion Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (timing will depend on the issuance of Permit)

    A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft & Baba Mandir – The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh, Back to Gangtok. Evening will free & overnight stay Gangtok.

     

    Day 03:  Gangtok Half Day Sightseeing + Darjeeling

    After breakfast proceed for a half-day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Flower show, Cottage Industry, and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-Dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. In the afternoon transfer to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world, known as “The Queen of Hills Station”. Evening free to explore the Hill Queen or Roam around The Mall. Overnight stay Darjeeling.

     

    Day 04:   In Darjeeling

    Early Morning at 04 AM visit Tiger Hill (Subject to Availability of Permit ), famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan  Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational, rope-way ride charges to be paid by guest directly ). Overnight stay Darjeeling.

     

    Day 05:   Darjeeling to NJP / IXB

    Morning will free for packing & personal activities. After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport for return journey.
